Job Description: 

JOB SCOPE

Support the Contract activities with professional approach as per plan, find, evaluate and engage suppliers’ details of materials, services and/or equipment for the assigned portfolio based on business needs and requirements. Respond to any operational requirements and provide required support and comply with Yasref strategies and operational priorities. Ensure to provide timely contract solutions to minimize downtime and maximise productivity.

COMMUNICATION

  • Internal : Report and refer on a regular basis with hierarchy. Implement pertinent policies, exchange information, discuss and know relevant KPIs/performance parameters. Provide service to other organizations.
  • External: Communication with vendors and suppliers as needed.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the contract drafting and review all contract modifications and proposals for completeness, compliance and accuracy.
  • Ensure all outsourced services issues are addressed and ensure required quality and on time delivery is achieved from the vendor.
  • Analyse and monitor vendors’ performance, funding, and payments on assigned contracts and notify contract division head of potential non-compliance and other problems that could have an adverse impact to YASREF.
  • Participate in evaluation of purchase requisition’s, proposal request, bid evaluation and awarding of contracts and ensure all contract information are updated in the contract’s database with accurate and complete information.
  • Ensure the validity of the required bank guarantees and insurance policies for all assigned contracts, after verifying the contract requirements.
  • Evaluate contract disputes, claim resolutions and outside audits; review and resolve issues affecting assigned business unit or company compliance and ensure satisfaction of legal requirements, company and customer objectives.
  • Participate in contract drafting and review all contract modifications and proposals for completeness, compliance and accuracy.
  • Ensure the validity of the required bank guarantees and insurance policies for all assigned contracts, after verifying the contract requirements.
  • Prepare along with the contract proponent representative Tender Review Committee (TRC) papers.
  • Participate with contract proponent representative and finance in the negotiation and settlement of change orders.
  • Coordinate and discuss operational issues with respective OME and other support departments to resolve and improve contracting services.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct Supervisor.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
